New York, found in the year 1624, was an importand town of trade and was found in order to expand trade. King Charles II of England gave his brother Duke of York  the land and he remnamed it New York in honor of the duke. Later the Duke of York would know that his colony would have one of the biggest most beautiful citys in the world.
